I recently booked flights from the US to Germany on Air Canada but was only able to confirm seats on 3 of the 4 legs. The leg not confirmed is operated by Luftansa. Do you have any guidance on how I can confirm a seat on Luftansa given I bought the tickets through Air Canada? I’m traveling with others and would prefer to know we’re able to sit together.

Could be that some fare classes for travel on Lufthansa are ineligible for advance seat selection.
Have you tried looking at your itinerary directly on Lufthansa’s website? If it doesnt show, call AC and see if they have a different record locator for Lufthansa.
