Redeeming ANA Miles for Premium Economy

Redeeming ANA Miles for Premium Economy

I am looking at redeeming miles on ANA on their flights from North America to Japan next year and it looks like they have some pretty good redemption rates, with economy at around 40,000 miles roundtrip and business at around 80,000. However, I cannot see the option to book premium economy. Can you book premium economy awards with ANA through their mileage program, and, if so, how much does it cost (in miles)>

Doesn’t look like it can be done, at least through the website. I found a short Flyer Talk thread from September and the answer then was it wasn’t possible. From looking around on other sites it does seem that it’s possible to upgrade with cash.

If you’ll be transferring a flexible currency to book this seat you may want to also look at United and Singapore as they won’t impose fuel surcharges.
