    Thank you for your super fast and informative reply. I wonder how long American will do the old way before it follows Delta and United. I guess I will stick with Delta for 2015 and see.

    @ Antonio — Yeah no way to know for sure, unfortunately. They could change the way they do it next year, or it could stay the same. But since there’s quite a switching cost to adjusting airlines, I probably wouldn’t switch given the uncertainty.
