Was very excited to have scored 2 award seats using Avios for direct flights to a small Virginia town from NYC in June on US Airways metal. Just received notifications of a schedule change, return date no longer has a direct flight – and we were rebooked on a flight with an inconvenient connection. The following day has a direct flight, but no ‘saver’ level seats available on it. Any tips for calling BA and trying to be rebooked on return the following day on the direct flight? Do you think this is a possibility?
