Question 1296

Question 1296

  1. Anonymous

Lucky, I have a question relating to Uber pick-ups at airport.

As I believe you have plenty of global experience in taking Uber, where do you usually wait for Ubers to pick you up at the airport?

Do you typically need to incur overseas calling fees to speak to the uber driver to identify your location at the airport?

Or is it almost typical to wait at Arrivals for Uber?

[I wish Uber can type in a remarks column to inform the driver of my location, or even better, uber can do instant messaging with the driver assigned, but till then, I always find Uber pickups at the airport a great confusion. I wonder if you can share how u manage Uber pickups at the airport]

@ flyingfish — Just typically in the arrivals area. That being said, I don’t typically use Uber abroad when at airports for the reason you mention. It often requires a phone call, and I don’t use data abroad.
