Question 1286

Question 1286

  1. Anonymous

    Hey Ben,

I’m ticketed (through Saver mileage) in AA F on the 77W from DFW-LHR. I recently flew this cabin round trip from DFW-GRU and loved it, but you and others have been bashing it so much recently it made me wonder if I should look for alternatives.

Would either of the following be worth it if they come available?

Virgin Atlantic 747 Upper Class from LAS-LGW — without surcharges as booked through Delta SkyMiles — this would require the AA reinstatement fee and extra mileage to get from SEA to LAS

BA F on an 380 — no AA reinstatement fee but would come with the BA fuel surcharge

Or should I just keep my AA Saver F on the 77W which I enjoyed a lot between DFW and GRU?

    Thanks!

    Or should I just

@ Todd — If you have it at the saver level and without fuel surcharges I’d say that’s a great option for transatlantic travel. I’d stick to it.
