Question 1228

Question 1228

  1. Anonymous

I am planning a trip for my mom (like what you did) to Bali at the end of May 2016. I want to know what’s the best way to fly out of the U.S. and into Bali in first class? Also, I would like to take advantage and enjoy one of the lounge with cabanas. I think the experience is the most important in my case. I would like to experience one of those once in a lifetime trip with my mom, whether it’s in the lounge or up in the air. Thus, I would like your recommendation or guidance on how to plan this out. Currently, I have about 60k US AIRWARY miles, 90k HHONORS, 50k UR. I’m planning to apply for cards more depends on which flight itineraries I will be taking. Thanks for your help in advance!

@ Stacey — Sounds like fun! I think Cathay Pacific is a great option, so I’d recommend maybe applying for some more American/US Airways credit cards to earn additional miles. You could otherwise do Korean Air first class in one direction, in which case you’d want to earn some more Ultimate Rewards points.
