Hey, I was looking around for a good way to fly SQ and QR F without the flight being too short, so I decided on SQ from SIN to SYD, then SYD to DOH, but when I started searching flights from SYD to DOH, I realized there was no First class, despite it being operated by an A380, and the flight to SYD from DOH had F. I even tried multiple different days in multiple different months, (also, I tried searching for a normal paid ticket and still didn’t show up). I really can’t seem to find F on any of the dates I’ve searched, so it would be much appreciated if someone could help me out! (Just to be clear, the flight to SYD has F but the flight to DOH doesn’t, despite it being the same aircraft).

Hmmm, what dates are you looking at? The dates I’m pulling up all show a first class cabin (I started searching in March).

Which specific dates did you try? I tried searching a bunch of random dates in March and none of them showed a First class cabin, I tried both Qatar’s website and their app.

Also forgot to mention that the one-way flight from SYD to DOH doesn’t show F, not round-trip.

Sure, I tried March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, April 13th, May 12th, June 8th, August 17th, October 20th, and December 13th. Thanks for your help!

That’s odd — Qatar has loaded first class inventory into the GDS on every day that I can see:

Maybe a Point of Sale restriction or something?

Yeah, very strange. I checked on kayak and google and even set searches to Australia and UAE but no first seems to come up for sale on QR.

Definitely very strange, I think I’ll do some more looking around and maybe call Qatar Airways to ask about this, but thanks for your help!
