Qatar First Class Lounge – “Cheap” access?

Qatar First Class Lounge – “Cheap” access?

    [SIZE=5]Hey there,

    I will have to kill 7 hours in Doha end of August on my way back home from PVG to FRA. I am traveling in Qatar J and therefore could easily use the Al Mourjan Business Lounge.

    But I really would like to experience the Al Safwa Lounge. Do you have any suggestions how I can book a reasonable one way regional award ticket originating in Doh for the same day?

    So far I only found an award on BAs Executive program that would cost me about 180€. Do you have other ideas on how to accomplish this?

    Cheers

    QR monitors overlapping tickets and you will risk not getting to FRA.

    That said, 1st class lounge is nothing that special, especially compared to business class lounge there. There are less people and some a la carte options. I actually prefer business class lounge with better business center and more space/options.

    I am curious to see how it compares to the Etihad First Class Lounge (back in Aug 2016).

    I don’t get the chance to be in the Middle East that offen. That’s why I would like to try it as well.

    If they monitor overlapping tickets. Do they ask for your passport on the lounge check in? Or can I just present my boarding pass of the app? It might coincidentally happen that I put the name of my son on the ticket (which happened to me in real before) and therefore they can’t match it to my other booking?

    I know this would be knowingly against the rules, just checking out the options. I probably will just use the Al Mourjan lounge then anyway.

    Cheers
