Hi!

I was wondering if the recent promotion of 2×1 in Business Class (almost worldwide) was usual for Qatar Airways.

I´m planning a trip in October and it´s still a little early to organize it.

It´s something that happens reguraly?

Juan Carlos–do you have a link to the promotion? The promotions I’ve heard of in the past usually restrict you to the highest fares which is not always the best use of mone as you can often buy cheaper fares for two people directly.

A quick google search shows a few hits over the last couple of years but I’m not sure if they are for all markets or if they will be available when you are ready to book unfortunately!

I can remember last year in Feb, March or April they made a promo almost the same like this. They sold two tickets in the price of one in C. My friends went for this and went to Bangkok. So, I guess they make something like this once a year.

This is the offer I think you are referring too. However, I believe this one is for privilege club members residing in Qatar. As a resident I was emailed this offer and I think I saw the same offer twice last year. I assume they do similar offers departing from other parts of the world.

I remember as we were going to Thailand so I was going to book this offer but the small print said that kids and infants would have to pay full fare so I still would have had to pay for two seats for the three of us so fly economy! Annoyingly, the next time the offer came around, this changed and you could just pay tax for infants.

Most of their promos are regional specific, not sure if the partner specials are different. I remember they had end of September 2015 a partner special for departures in Germany. Then there was another good promo in November, not sure which regions are covered. In general I had the impression that there is about all 3 months some promo but not covering all regions and destinations.
