Post UA to Singapore?

Post UA to Singapore?

Got a very cheap flight on UA MSP-SYD this fall. Our mileage accrual is minimal on UA but if post the flight to Singapore we will get all the miles flown. We did upgrade to business and now are on an R class flight. I don’t see these on the Singapore website as crossing over. Should we stick with the Singapore or stay with UA for the flights?? BTW – paid only $550 RT so the upgrade was way worth it for us to go bz class.

    Hi @Byrdj, and welcome!

You’ll only get the miles for the base fare booked — you’ll want to credit miles based on the original fare class.

Thank you Tiffany – original was L class but I am thinking I should get the actual miles flown credited (and not fare per UA), correct?

If you credit to Singapore, you will be accruing based on miles flown and the original fare class, not the upgraded fare class.

UA L fares earn 100% of miles flown, if credited to SQ.
