Paying with Citi Pts for AA flight, can credit to AS?

Paying with Citi Pts for AA flight, can credit to AS?

  1. Anonymous Guest

I used Citi Pts from my Citi Prestige card to pay for an AA flight in first class. I noticed there is no bucket number on the reservation(i.e. ‘F’ or ‘I’). I want to credit the miles to Alaska. Can I do that or do they have to be credited to AA?
    Thank you.

You can definitely credit to Alaskan, assuming your flight is before January 1st, 2018.
