Opinions on Flying Blue?

Opinions on Flying Blue?

So a year or so ago, there were stories floating around on Flying Blue shutting down accounts that they said had conducted fraudulent activity. All the users were doing was using the search engine or transferring in MR points. There hasn’t been any update, but I’ve seen that Lucky has redeemed Flying Blue points for his Air France trip. Is Flying Blue worthy of consideration again, or has Air France fixed their policies? I’m guessing that the website is still buggy, the phone agents hateful, but the extra award availability on AF and KL (I’m guessing extra) has me tempted. Thanks!

Yeah, if the miles are going from your credit card account, to your FB account, for travel in your name, and paid for with your credit card, you shouldn’t have any issues. Worst case, you might have to show ID and ticket at the airport.
