one way US stopover from Europe?

one way US stopover from Europe?

  1. Anonymous Guest

I’m planning a trip for this summer that will likely be in a premium class. Ideally, I would fly FRA – BOS (say, Lufthansa First), have a couple days stopover, and then continue BOS – SFO (United any class) all on the same ticket, charged at the rate of FRA – SFO rather than two trips. As far as I can tell, this isn’t possible. Am I missing something? Any advice?

I don’t believe United allows stopovers on a one-way itinerary. So, that’s probably the hold up.

Aeroplan would allow this but the fuel surcharge would probably be outrageous…
