Olympics 2020

Olympics 2020

    Hello All,
My goal is to Represent South Africa at the 2020 Olympics.
Being a South African athlete with Olympic aspirations comes with a massive challenge as acquiring funding from our Government is not easy to near impossible and thus I have to self fund my travels in order to make my dream a reality.
I am a Judoka so many of the International competitions vital for Olympic qualification, are located all around the world. Which is both a blessing in that i can see the world but a curse in that getting to these places is no easy feat!
I have always been interested in the Air Miles offered however never really been able to understand the dynamics to the system. Until seeing Lucky on the X-Ray Mega Airport documentary suddenly everything glowed.
I am leaving for Mauritius in 2 weeks to participate in an International Competition and getting funds together for it saw me fund raise for a couple months however i managed it.
And now after seeing the potential of both the air miles system and my judo career i realized that there are possibilities opening in front of me.
I would like to know if you and your team can see reality in the same picture i see opportunity to possibility? As I could easily use mileage running dually as an opportunity to gain air miles as well as train all around the world and ideally compete around the world towards the end goal of representing South Africa at the Olympics.
Also where would i begin and what all do i need to ensure i have to start this overly ambitious adventure to reach my Dreams.
If you could help me with a reality check or perhaps a game plan i would greatly appreciate it as i am elated with hope.
    Thank you for your time

Welcome and good luck on your Olympic dream.

Sadly mileage running is a dead sport these days. Status runs still work, but that is it.
