Need 543 Miles for EP status on American.. how to get it?
I only need 543 miles on American Airlines for EP status. I was thinking of booking a short 100 mile trip from San Diego to Los Angeles. Will the airlines give me the 500 mile min or will they give me the actual traveled miles say 208 and waste my time with a mile run?
If you are an AAvantage member you get 500 minimum EQM’s per flight
If you see here: https://www.aa.com/i18n/aadvantage-program/elite-status/aadvantage-elite-status.jsp AA promises 500 mile minimum on AA, AS, and OW flights. Good luck, and welcome!
Hi @Gary Tincher, and welcome!
If you need 543 miles, you might want to book a flight to PHX which is well over 500 miles, I found a flight for 200$ on AA on Saturday (cheaper than any flight to SAN) you go LAX-PHX (leaves at 6 AM)-LAS-LAX (you’ll be done by noon)
