Missing Trip Report

Missing Trip Report

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hey Lucky,
I was just looking through (really stalking) your Instagram I noticed you took a trip to Iceland and Lisbon yet I can’t see to find a trip report on it. Just wondering what happened to it. Also how about the Oman trip, will there be a report? I know too much pressure but I am addicted to your trip reports 🙂

    Hello Air India.

Lucky answered me on the comments section of a blog post a while back, and sadly we will not be seeing a trip report of Lisbon and Iceland. Seem there was a technical error and some of the pictures plus a lot of the trip report that he had written up got lost.

Not sure about Oman trip reports.

Any chance for a report on Oman from either you or @Lucky ?

I haven’t been to Oman in years, sadly, and while I’d love to tell y’all about the time we got lost in the desert and then stumbled upon the fort at Nizwa and had camel kabobs for lunch, it just wouldn’t be as good without pictures.

Ben did write about his trip to the Six Senses here though: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2016/02/05/review-six-senses-zighy-bay-villa/

@No Name I will be flying Icelandair in a few months, one flight on a 757 and one on one of their new 767s 🙂

Have a good trip, bring warmer cloths if you are stopping in Iceland. It’s not very warm even in summer.

To be honest I was hoping more for a trip report on Muscat, lets face it Six Senses could be anywhere in the world with a beach and mountains.

It might be located in Oman, but it’s not really Oman if you get my drift.

@No Name — Yeah, I understand. Happy to answer any questions about Oman in general; it’s one of the best places I’ve ever been, but I don’t think I have enough material to make an OMAAT-style trip report.
