Minimum spend extension

Minimum spend extension

Obviously not a priority at this time, but I signed up via the OMAAT link for the World of Hyatt Chase credit card last week. I usually spend ~$1000 weekly on hotels, and had booked Hyatt hotels and would be quickly meeting the minimum spend. Of course, now due to COVID all business travel is canceled indefinitely and I have this new credit card I no longer want. Has there been any talk of extending minimum spend deadlines in the COVID period? Thanks!

I think the difficult thing at this point is nobody knows how long this situation will last. So, hard to extend things when it could be 30 days or 3 months…

I would certainly contact Chase – a Twitter DM or secure message at chase.com might be easiest – and ask for an extension. All they can do is say no.
