Miles

Miles

I want to know should I charge my cruise on United Explorer Card and get 20,000 miles plus a possible bonus of x 10,000 miles or charge it on Costco Card and get 3% 600.00 cash back?

Both great options but it depends on whether you’d like the cash back or the miles with United. $600 cash back is tough to beat though.

If you take the cash back and you decide you want or need the miles later, United runs sales on miles where you can get them for close to 2 cents.

What is the possible “x 10,000” bonus? If its some sort of contest then obviously I wouldn’t count on it. So if you are only guaranteed 20K then cash back is the way to go.

If you spend $25K in a year on Card you get 10k miles.

I got some mailer from United on cruise bonuses if you booked by today. I don’t know if you’ve seen that or its targeted but you might check it out.

Other than that, I’d probably still take the cash and buy the miles if needed.
