MILES & SMILES

MILES & SMILES

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Lucky,

I am wondering is Miles & Smiles a reliable award program…They are failing to assist in log in problems. However they deliver most convenient flights to my standard destination Cairo /Egypt. I am struggling to find affordable prices from Helsinki, Finland to this destination. Timing February 2016. Any help? I love your creativity! <3

Mervi: It’s one of the major programs and covers two airlines so I would say it is pretty reliable. Have you tried calling the German support number. Sometimes contacting the main office can work wonders.

Duh, I should have read the question more carefully. I read it as miles and more instead of miles and smiles as you wrote. Turkish does have a legit program although their phone center skills can leave a lot to be desired. Have you considered accumulating miles in another Star Alliance program (see award charts to determine what would work best for you)? You could then use them on Turkish although you might lose access to any availability that Turkish makes available only to their own members.
