    Hello,

Hoping for ideas on getting to Asia from Miami on points. I have 250kAA, 100kMR, 150kSPG, and 150kUR (planning on applying for the new card so will actually be 250k).

Have two weeks so was thinking either:
Thailand for the full two weeks
Langkawi for a week, Singapore for a couple days, then a few days in HKG

Also have considered Phillipines if anyone has a good itinerary

Goal is to minimize connections so that we can maximize our time off, which is what makes this difficult since there is nothing direct from Miami…

    Thoughts?

One person? Multiple? When are you thinking of traveling?

Two people, we can go basically anytime between January and June. If need be I can lengthen the trip by a couple days.

Last year we did Bali-Maldives (Cathay F there, EVA/Singapore Airlines business back but was based out of Chicago then), so am looking to see something different.

How about using AA miles for AA MIA-JFK JL JFK-NRT-HKG, then Avios for HKG-KUL-LGK and LGK-KUL-SIN.

For the return, LH SIN-FRA-MIA in F for the return, using United miles, assuming the upcoming changes to award redemptions dont specifically rule out third region transits. Or maybe SQ SIN-FRA using their own program and then LH FRA-MIA using United miles.
