Merging sia bookings

Merging sia bookings

Hi all! I have a few routes from San Fran to Sydney waitlisted on sq. I did find two business award flights seperately and booked them. San Fran to Singapore direct and Singapore to Sydney direct. Unfort I can’t merge these bookings according to Singapore! So I am being charged two one way awards rather than a single one way from San Fran to sydney

Has anyone dealt with this before? It seems like a huge waste of Points to have two one ways but I don’t want to lose the San Fran Singapore direct

Is there still award availability for SIN-SYD? If there is can’t you ask the agent to add the leg to the SFO-SIN booking instead of trying to combine the two?

Ok thanks David. I see availability on the midnight a380 flight so maybe I’ll try to add that to my booking from San Fran. Appreciate the help!!

I found that availability and called but they couldn’t do it!!!! I tried to cancel the second leg and add a new second leg to my first ticket but they wouldn’t allow it. Very frustrating. They say that I have to cancel and start again but I know that direct flight before Christmas is very high demand. Extremely frustrating
