Marriot/vacation and aa miles

Marriot/vacation and aa miles

  1. Anonymous Guest

This may have been covered before, but I can’t seem to find an answer.
I understand that spg/marriott has great value when transferring points to their vacation/air travel. AAdvantage is currently offering an additional 25% bonus when transferring hotel miles to their program. Are these packages excluded, or will we get 120k advantage +25% bonus points plus hotel package if we do this transaction prior to May 31?
    thanks for the help!

Hi Gina, I think these are two separate promotions so you’d have to do one or the other.

I’d recommend doing the SPG/Marriott transfer, since you should get more value and skip the AAdvantage transfer. You’d need around 350,000 Marriott points to get the 120,000 AA miles plus the bonus, but you wouldn’t get the hotel category certificate
