Hello all… quick question. Im going to Europe this summer and have enough miles to fly one way in business class. I have the option to fly ATL-IST-CDG on turkish 777-300er or ORD-FRA-CDG on Lufthansa 747-8i upper deck. Which one is recommended? I’ve never flown either..

Hello all. I have the option to fly LH ORD-FRA-CDG on 747-8i upper deck or TK ATL-IST-CDG 777-300er all in business class. Im using mileage plus miles to book the ticket, and can’t decide which longhaul i’d prefer. Any suggestions?

LH Upper deck is nice. 82K is my favorite seat o_O

With LH:
Good flight. Upper deck is more private but slightly less roomy compared to lower level.
Food is good but not great.
Lounges in FRA are good but don’t boast anything special for Biz.

With TK:
If you are not in the middle, you should be fine.
Slightly better pitch.
Fantastic lounge in IST.
Chef on board.

If you are after food and lounge I would go with TK.
If you are more in to upper deck and a consistent experience, then LH. LH service can be on and off at times, but never bad in my experience.

Oooh…this is tough. I would probably go with Turkish, as they have a better lounge and better catering, but I don’t think you can go wrong either way. Sounds like a great trip!!
