    Hi Ben –
Like you I love the international service provided by T-Mobile. I do a lot of international travel and I’ve been very happy with them

However, I recently got a text message from them that was an unpleasant surprise:

“The majority of the last two months of T-Mobile usage on line (xxx-xxx-xxxx)has been roaming internationally. If this line continues to roam extensively abroad over the next month, the use will violate our terms and conditions, and your roaming usage will be blocked on September 25 2018. See details: t-mo.co/roaming”

I was really surprised to see this. It’s not a deal killer right now, because I’m on my way back to the US and don’t have any international travel planned for about 10 weeks. But when I looked up more details, it appears that T-Mobile considers it a violation of terms of service if you have more than 50% international usage for any 3 billing periods in a year. That could be a problem for me.

You certainly seem to be traveling more than me. I wonder if you’ve had this issue come up? Or maybe this is one of the new rules that has just gone into effect.

I’m sure you may see a post on this soon, but in the meantime, it seems TPG covered it yesterday!
