Late Night Cathay Pacific Lounge in HKG

Late Night Cathay Pacific Lounge in HKG

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Lucky,

I have a very long layover coming up in HKG. I am flying Cathay Pacific Business Class and was wondering if there are any lounges I would be able to visit. The issue is that my flight from Singapore lands at midnight and my flight to Chicago doesn’t depart until Noon the next day, so 12 hours :(. I believe the lounges all close around 1am ish and then open back up around 5:30am? Are there any Cathay options during this overnight time? I know I could do the Marriott there but was looking to stay within the airport first. Thanks for your blog.

I dont think there are any options, unless you want to sleep in the terminal. If I was in your shoes, I would definitely get a room in a hotel for the night, either at the HK Marriott SkyCity or a hotel that’s close to an Airport Express stop.

I’m in the same situation in a few months and researched it pretty well. Best bet is one of the local hotels. Regal is the closest I think, where I’m staying. Got bonus points through rocketmiles for booking
