Korean First A380 vs. 747-8i?
I am in the lucky position of choosing between First in the 380 versus the new 747-8i with the updated product from JFK-ICN.
Which should I choose? Any advice is appreciated!
Lucky has a review of KE F on the A380 here http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2014/02/26/review-korean-air-a380-first-class-seoul-incheon-los-angeles/
I dont see to be able to find any KE F B747-8 reviews anywhere. The 747-8 KE F product is supposed to be an evolution of their A380 F product with more privacy, and there’s only 6 seats. If it were me, I think I’d choose the 747-8.
If you do, report back!
I just flew on the 747-8 in F from SFO to ICN. It was very nice. I prefer this seat to the A380.

I’m also struggling with this. The new 747-8 with the existing F or the 380. We are doing Australia with KE F outbound and Etihad return from Melbourne to Dulles.

my strategy would be to fly the less busy aircraft. Everyone is going for the A380. If there are 2 flights per day – an A380 and a 747-8i, i’d go for the 747-8i. I recall so many flights being alone in First. Loved it, even on unrefurbished BA 747’s pre 2013
