    I purchased a KE class J ticket yesterday, RT from SFO to ICN for $5100. Today that ticket is $3900. Can I cancel the ticket I purchased yesterday and incur the $300 penalty and repurchase? If so, would reservations let me do it prior or would the system recognize that I am already on the flight? Am I missing something?

    If you booked in the US you should be eligible for 24 hour free cancellation. Call KE to confirm this. Then book the cheaper ticket. Last, cancel your original reservation.

    30 minutes on the phone with KE and I saved $900. Even though is was less than 24hrs since I booked it, they still charged me $300 fee because travel is in less than 7 days. Regardless, I’ll take it.
