JOINING SPG AND MARRIOTT ACCOUNTS

JOINING SPG AND MARRIOTT ACCOUNTS

  1. Ricki New Member

I have 2 specific questions, maybe somebody had this solved. I am hesitant to join the accounts since my SPG account shows a “total” nights that is short of nights that I stayed in August, even though the nights show in the tally of the link that says “View previous SPG activity (prior to 8/18/2018)”. The total on the main page only shows 21 nights instead of the 33 I should have.

1-Did joining the accounts give you the correct total of nights for the year even if the previous total (separate totals on each account) was wrong?
2-Which account should I keep? I have been platinum with SPG 6 years, 2 years with Marriott, with similar lifetime miles on each account (Around 350 on each)
