JAL Premium Economy with AAdvantage Miles?

JAL Premium Economy with AAdvantage Miles?

  1. AustinTexMan Member

Is it possible to book Premium Economy on JAL with AAdvantage miles? I have never seen it listed in the AAvantage reward charts but thought that this may now be a possibility. I am traveling from Tokyo to Austin and have given up on the Business Class milesaaver option. I have found both Economy and Premium Economy on JAL and thought I would ask. Thanks as always!

Tiffany, Thanks for your reply! I was afraid you were going to say that. It looks like SAAver Economy from Tokyo to Lax is the best thing out there right now. AA hasn’t had SAAver Economy from LA to Austin in at least 6 months which is disgusting.

@AustinTexMan – I’m assuming you’re wanting the LAX-AUS non-stop, especially after such a long flight back. But if you’re open to another stop, you can look at routing via Phoenix or DFW (or even Chicago). And if you’re up for 2 stops that opens up a world of possibilities.

MidSouth- I’ve had every possible city (DFW, LAX,ORD,JFK) on expert flyer with not a single SAAver seat to Austin in 6 months! Thanks for suggesting Phoenix didn’t have anything as well. Think it’s time to say good bye to AA for me.
