IHG Priceless Surprises Fail?

IHG Priceless Surprises Fail?

  1. Anonymous Guest

[I know there’s another thread on this under Travis’ post but I thought I’d restart it here now that the Sweepstakes has ended.]

Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem…

I sent in 94 very clearly handwritten entries to the IHG Priceless Surprises Sweepstakes. I received back only 5 “elevator pass” emails to enter the contest, resulting in a paltry 2,500 IHG points.

I was thinking that they’re backlogged and would get to the rest of my entries. But, now that the promotion has ended (2/29/16) I guess that’s all I got.

Did anyone that entered get passes for the full quantity of handwritten entries they submitted?

Was the Hello Group (that produced the contest) just overwhelmed?

If so, isn’t this a violation of their own sweepstakes terms?
Don’t get me wrong…they’re giving me free miles, so I’m OK with it. But, if they didn’t have the infrastructure to support it, why make it available? I spent a lot of time writing those things.

    Thoughts?

I had issues as well, and the program was not that well implemented. I had to email and call a few times for a bunch of missing entires but the made it right by sending the missing entries. So I would do the same since the deadline to play entries is mid March I think. Good luck.

I have crap handwriting but I received all 94 entries. I’m not sure if i received 94 emails but when i go into my IHG account, i see 94 separate points deposits from the promotion

I only sent in 9 entries because I didn’t know how well this promo would do. My results: I received 2 emails/elevator passes. My points posted on Feb 26th. So a 22% “success” rate. Still hoping I’ll receive a few more entries though.

Thanks for the updates, all. Seems like there have been some issues with the sweeps. I have an email out to IHG customer care and will update once I hear back.

    Thanks again!

Thanks for the encouragement Skier! I actually got an email from Hello World today saying they’re looking into my case. (I wrote them asking why I only got 4 out of 96). So, I have hope.

Hopefully Ariana got a good ROI on her entries.

    Thanks again.
