Iceland air

Iceland air

hello I am planning a surprise trip to Iceland this September for my girlfriend and I. I was able to find some great fares, in my opinion, from MSP to KEF I live in Bismarck ND so 90% of the flights out of there have to stop at msp before going elsewhere. My question is what is the best way to credit miles when traveling with Iceland air? I found the best rates when booking through Iceland air directly and plan on paying for the tickets instead of using miles. I have the delta gold Amex, SPG Amex, and the Chase Sapphire Preferred. Thank you for your time!

Hey Blake, you’ll have to give us a report when you get back. I’m going to try them out this fall as well.

Check the fare class for your tickets and then go to wheretocredit.com to see where you’ll earn the most miles. Some fare classes earn really nice mileage on Alaska Air while other fare classes earn none at all. JetBlue earns miles in some of the fare classes as well and while they don’t fly to Bismarck, they do fly to MSP so perhaps that could be of use too.
