I fly quite alot for work -> how to optimize

    Hello everyone,

I just aquired my first “frequent traveling job” and I want to know if you have any suggestions to optimize the collection of miles & travel experience.
I will fly to around 30-40 times a year out of Munich, Germany. I would say about 85% short haul in europe, with some intercontinetal flights here and there. Business Class will be the exception on 10+h flights, but company policy is Economy in general. Almost all travel will be with Lufthansa, except where it is not possible -> Star Alliance is obviosly preferred.
Looking at the Miles & More program, I will have no problem aquiring the “Frequent Traveler” status, but not much more. Obviosly getting the M&M Credit card will help with getting more miles -> for which I have already applied.
Hotel chains are not going to be a thing for me, since I will tend to stay at odd places away from big cities.

    Thanks in advance!
