How to earn double or triple miles to AA

How to earn double or triple miles to AA

I’ve been giving my Sapphire Preferred card a good workout since I finally figured out that earning double miles is way better than 1x. I’ll do the Citi Thank You once I’m done with the Sapphire Spend for bonus.

Is there a card that can give me double or triple miles to AA on a variety of different purchases? Seems that all the AA cards I have no only have double for AA purchases.

Maybe it needs to be to a different One World partner instead? I’ve got my eye on Thank You points to Cathay Pacific, but would like to have the flexibility of JAL or AA as well.

    I’d appreciate any advice!

BTW- 80%+ of my travel is from DFW to China, Philippines, and Hong Kong.

@Nazenail Unfortunately the most lucrative AA card is the SPG which will give you 1.25 AA miles/$ when you transfer in increments of 20k points. The TY cards do have strong earning rates but cannot transfer directly to AA though they can be used to buy revenue AA tickets at rates ranging from 1.25-1.66cpp which will earn you more miles.
