Hi everyone,
I’ll be flying out of SEA for a few days for work and my firm booked me an extra seat for COVID-19 social distancing. How do I go about handling this? I assume I’ll have two boarding passes after check-in, so I assume that I’ll need to scan both when boarding, but will the gate agent let me do this? How do I explain this to them?
Also, when I tried to add my frequent flyer number to the extra seat, it wouldn’t let me (I think bc it’s booked as “EXTRA SEAT CRYSTAL…”, so it doesn’t match the number in my frequent flyer acct). Any experience/tips on dealing with this?
Thanks so much for all the help!
Make sure you’re not logged into the airline’s website and you should be able to check in using the other seat’s record locator. You won’t be able to collect FF miles for that ticket.
René had a decent look at this for Delta:

Thanks to both of you! Very helpful
