Hilton Honors lifetime Diamond status

Hilton Honors lifetime Diamond status

  1. Anonymous Guest

I understand the criteria for earning Hilton Honors lifetime Diamond status includes having held Diamond Status for 10 years (among min night stay/points as well). However, how does owning the Aspire Amex card count toward this? I have already gotten Diamond this year from having the Aspire card so does this count as one year toward lifetime Diamond status? Thanks!

A year as a credit card Diamond counts.

Since there are apocryphal tales of Diamond status persisting long past canceling the Aspire, it might be possible to time it so you get multiple years of Diamond from one annual fee.

I believe a Diamond is a Diamond no matter how you got it so I think this year will count.
