Help with Singapore Suites Availability JFK to SIN

So I’ve just about saved up enough miles for this one-way, but unfortunately, it seems like all of these flights are either waitlisted or unavailable at the Saver level.

Is there any time of year that has been easiest for any of you to find availability? If I waitlist an award, what are chances like that I clear the waitlist?

You can waitlist for an award and then call SQ KrisFlyer and request a “chaser” be put on the award. I have heard that helps with the award clearing, though no guarantees and I have not tried it for myself.

Usually if you book a year in advance, availability is better. Back in late May 2017, I booked JFK-FRA-SIN-HKG on SQ Suites for May 2018.
