Hang On To Virgin America Elevate Points?

Hang On To Virgin America Elevate Points?

  1. Anonymous Guest

Alaska Airlines has announced that by December, 2017, they plan to merge loyalty programs with Virgin America. Here is my question. Should I hang on to my Virgin America points, hoping for an incentive to transfer them to Alaska, or should I go ahead and transfer now, receiving 1.3 Alaska points for each Virgin America point?

I believe the 30% transfer bonus is going to stay until the end of the program, so there is no hurry to convert. Keep in mind that once you convert to Alaska, you won’t be able to transfer back.

Here is a post from Ben regarding your question.
