government approval of an American route

government approval of an American route

  1. Anonymous Guest

I am looking at a reward ticket on American Airlines for July. There is a red statement indicating service between the two cities is subject to government approval. How long does that usually take to clear? What are your thoughts on booking it?

It could take anywhere from few weeks to few months, or even a year. Could be cancelled but you will be rerouted if have a confirmed ticket.
