Global Entry Renewal

Global Entry Renewal

My Global Entry membership expires in October 2018. I have applied for renewal in January. Ever since the application is in the status “Pending Review”.

Is this normal that it takes so long? Is there a possibility to inquire about the status?

Mine never took more than ten days each time (original and one renewal) for review. I’m just wondering why you’re renewing so early? Perhaps that may play into the equation. Then again, given the many free credit card offers perhaps they are just overloaded with applicants. Just Google “GOES Contact Number” and there are different methods to inquire.

Thanks, Gia. I am not living in the United States and need to have time to organize an interview should one be needed. Anyway, since it is possible to apply for renewal one year in advance, it should not make any difference. Just because there is some time left should not result in my application ending up at the bottom of the pile.
Thanks for the tip about the contact numbers.
