Global Entry Conditional Approval

Anyone know how long it’s currently taking to receive conditional approval for Global Entry after submitting the application? My wife and I have an international trip scheduled in early August, and I’m wondering what the chances are that she’d get her KTN by then.

The only reason I’m even trying to figure this out is that we’ve already submitted a TSA Precheck application for her and have that interview scheduled in a few days. We have a TSA Pre/Global Entry fee credit on our credit card, and if there’s a good chance she could get the Global Entry before our trip, we’d cancel the Precheck application and use the fee credit for Global Entry instead. But if we wouldn’t get Global Entry in time, I’d rather use the credit on the TSA Precheck.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

I can’t comment on the conditional approval time for new Global Entry applications but my wife and I both submitted renewals a week ago and received conditional approval the next day. But many/most interview appointments are 2-3 months in the future unless you’re able to travel to a CBP location that has earlier availability.
