Flights to Bangkok – Chinese Airlines

Flights to Bangkok – Chinese Airlines

  1. Anonymous Guest

I’m taking my family (5 travellers) to Thailand. Tickets on China Eastern and China Southern – business class are considerably less expensive than other airlines – is this a good choice? Is one better than the other? I reach your review on China Eastern but can’t find one on China Southern. We will go out of LAX. I’d love to have a nice flight and lounges as it will be most people’s first time in business class with such benefits.
    thank you!

China Eastern is especially poor – there’s posts about pilots smoking in air, and food sucks. They do have a great hard product though – reverse herring bone seats, whereas China Southern has staggered seats. Between the two, China Southern probably edges out China Eastern.

What about fares on Hainan? They a much better Chinese airline than either MU or CZ and I’ve seen low fares on them before. I actually booked a sub $2k business class fare for LAX-CAN for next year on Hainan. Sometimes I also see low fares on Air China as well.
