Flagship Lounge Access

Does anyone know where to find a detailed explanation of the rules. Emailed Admirals Club customer service (couldnt find one dedicated to FL)….

Trying to understand the rules associated with accessing FL on a connecting flight. I know if my connecting flight is the same day i can get into FL. i.e. 6am flight from Lax to Dfw to connect to a 1pm flight to Asia. I was also told months ago when looking into this that if my flight to Dallas leaves LA at 11pm i can get in to FL b/c i arrive in Dallas the same day as the flight to Asia.. But what i am trying to figure out is what i fly in at 4pm and get to Dallas at 9pm, then can i use the lounge in LA or no b/c my flight actually doesnt get into Dallas the same day as the qualifying flight leaves Dallas? I have a feeling this one is a NO b/c in dallas at 9pm if i tried to get into FL there i think i would be denied so thus, how could i use it in LA. So maybe it is just as long as the flight from La lands the same day as the qualifying flight you can use the lounge in LA.. Be nice to just see this in writing in somewhere.

I don’t think they have it in writing – your circumstance – because most people don’t book connecting flights just for FFD. The T&C’s are pretty clear: “Departing flight must be marketed and operated by American on the same day (or before 6 a.m. the following day). Customers traveling on airline industry non-revenue tickets are not eligible for access.” AA simply doesn’t have written guidance for accessing two different FFDs on one itinerary over 2 days. Just doesn’t happen enough.
