FCT or FCL at FRA

FCT or FCL at FRA

I am traveling in LH F from IAD to FRA and I have a 2.5 hour layover before continuing to BEG in LH C. A couple of questions, do I have time to go to the FCT, or is it more feasible to go to a FCL, and if so which one?

Hi @batik, and welcome! I generally feel you want at least a three hour layover before going to the FCT, personally, but as your flight from Dulles will probably be early, you should have time.

Otherwise, the FCLs are quite nice as well. The B lounge has a spa (not complimentary that I know of), while the A lounge is a bit newer. Both are good.

Thanks @Tiffany for the response. Ive been twice to the FCT but it was connecting through FRA, and going to IAD in F. This time its the reverse, so I didnt know if it was feasible to go to the FCT. I have a 2.5 hour layover, but I know that the flights to FRA usually arrive much earlier, so I probably will have close to a 3 hour layover, enough time for a shower, breakfast and relax for a bit. I understand that we will still be driven to the next flight, its LH in C.

Which FCL would I go to if I wanted that option. I arrive from IAD so probably Z or A gates, and depart for Serbia probably from B gates. Thanks again for the info.

What is your opinion on the FRA transfer service? Can it be used to access the FCT if you are short on time?

Is it just me of have FRA done a pad version of their website lately, aka designed for touch interface, slow as hell and full of bugs?

I tried using it once, but they didn’t have the staffing for when I would be flying, and couldn’t confirm if they’d pick me up at the remote stand. Seems probably expensive and not worth it on a LH F itinerary, honestly.

    Cost is listed as €85

Of course the book now link seems to be dead at the moment. see what I said above about website update full of bugs.:(
