ExpertFlier seatmaps mismatch to inventory
I know seat maps that *look* nearly empty can check in full, but this is different…
I’m booked on 4 EI flights over the next few weeks. The maps for three show zero seats available—the 4th has two in white. But the ‘blue’ seats are coded both ‘occupied’ and ‘blocked’, at roughly 50/50 on each of the flights.
Looking at inventory available, each of the flights shows Y9, with random availability in other fare classes.
Also odd- This is only happening in the Y cabin; J seems normal in presentation and inventory match.
Any idea what could actually be going on here?
