Etihad Miles

Etihad Miles

Hi,

I’m new to all these miles etc.
I have Flying Blue, British Airways Avios, Miles and More, so I’m basically covered for all 3 alliances.
I planning a trip on Etihad Airways Z class business, and I would like to credit those points to British Airways, and I’ve done some searches and all I can see is that it’s not possible. Is there any way I can get those points credited to BA? Many thanks for your answers.

Unfortunately not. Qatar airways actually has a stake in IAG, the parent company of British Airways so it would be unlikely to even have this in the future.

Dear Gaurav,

Appreciate your quick reply.
Any other tips to credit the miles (Flying blue or Miles and More) or is it maybe possible to transfer the miles later on, so let’s say I enroll to Etihad Guest and collect those points. Will it then be possible to transfer those point to any other of the abovementioned?

Many thanks.

Hi @Hamada, and welcome!

You generally can’t transfer points from one airline to another, but you can use miles from one program on another airline.

You can see your options for crediting the Etihad Z fare here:
