Anonymous GuestI’m trying to book Etihad apartments from JFK to AUH. The award space doesn’t show up when I search for it normally but if I search AUH-JFK-AUH as a round trip I can actually see JFK to AUH in apartments for the date I want. Normally I use American Airline miles to book this when I find the space this way but I cant book it online through Etihad with my eithad guest miles. I tried calling Etihad multiple times to see if they would book it but they could only see it when I wanted to book it round trip AUH-JFK-AUH. Help please 🙁

Yep, that’s normal. I’m not sure of a workaround for Etihad, only for American, unfortunately.

Can you book it R/T and cancel a segment? Not sure what Etihad charges for change fees/mileage refund.

Etihad cancel fee is 10% of points. Yikes!
