Etihad Apartment vs. Residence, worth the extra money?

Etihad Apartment vs. Residence, worth the extra money?

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hey Ben and everyone!

Loved the review of Etihad’s residence and glad you got to finally try it! I used your tips on booking from Cairo and was able to get a Apartment round trip from CAI-AUH-JFK for $5k and a Residence ticket on the same return route priced at $10.5k. This will likely be a once in a lifetime trip for me so would you say the Residence is worth the extra 5k compared to the apartment? I’ve only ever flown BA First so anything would be an experience compared to that. I know you’ve flown both Apartment and Residence so just wanted to grab your take on this if I could please! Thanks so much!

That’s a hard question to answer because so much of it depends on perception and personal interest. The Residence is a unique product but 10.5k is also a lot of money. I think Ben’s given as good a description of the product and experience as possible and he also has a few other reviews of EY apartments. Only you can decide if the trade off is worth it for you.
