Etihad – 777 First vs. A380 Business

Etihad – 777 First vs. A380 Business

  1. Anonymous Guest

@Lucky – what would you choose? Etihad 777 First or A380 Business?

Is the Etihad A380 that good and such an improvement on the 777, that even A380 Business Studio is better than the tired old Etihad 777 First? If these were your only options, what would you recommend?

Hello TimR! I would choose the 777 in first as even though it is an older product, the suite will be much larger and more private than the J product on the A380. Also, the soft product in First would probably be much better than in Business.

Just stay away from any B777 that says Jet Airways configured aircraft. That is not the real Etihad.

Yep, I would agree, those Jet Airways 777s are really showing their age

I think Jetihad First will still be better than A380 Business. Yes, its old but the service should still be a step up

Gaurav have reported on Jetihad before, don’t sound all that good sadly.

I must have missed that, my mistake. I’ve walked past the Etihad business cabin on both the A380 and the B789 and they look comfortable and fantastic.

there is a planned end for Jetihad correct?

Yeah at the end of this year for 2 US flights. http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2016/01/03/etihad-jet-airways-planes/

@David W doesn’t affect me much as I’m out of ORD so always normal Etihad. A few months ago Jetihad came to ORD though which was a cool sight to see a JET AIRWAYS plane at ORD

I’m at NYC and I’m hoping that at some point, the Etihad 77W will be changed to an A380 so both the frequencies are with the same type of aircraft

ORD gets no a380s as terminals are too old and outdated to handle it. Problem is, Chicago thinks solution is more east west parallel runways, went from 2 now up to 5 and soon to be 6! Plus a few other runways!
