Hello

I am planning to fly from singapore to las vegas on emirates first class.

Singapore to dubai – a380 -800 – 8hrs flight
dubai to seattle – 777-200er – 15 hrs flight
seattle to las vegas – 737-800 – 2hrs plus flight

Las vegas to san francisco – airbus a320 – 1 hr 40 mins
san francisco to dubai – a380-800 – 16 hrs flight
dubai to singapore – 777-300er

I remember reading it somewhere in a blog that says 777-200er aircraft is not good. hence, im reluctant to fly 777-200er. but the time is good for the above flight.

I didnt see any emirates 777-200er first flight review in this blog.

can someone help?

thanks

EK’s 777-200ER’s have angle flat seats in First. I think these are the seats http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/21546158-post55.html

the link shows a very old aircraft. is it really like that for 777-200lr

EK has both ER and LR versions of the 777-200. ER has the old angle flats while the LR has a suite product similar to its 777-300ERs

I think you’re on the 777-200LR for DXB-SEA. That’s what Emirates website shows

ya, thanks. i meant to type LR.

It should be the LR — my husband flew it in October, and it was good. Same seat as the A380, but no bar or shower.

In the future try this tool to find out what plane EK operates on a route.

yes, the seat is in fact nicer than the a380 in the sense that the walls are higher and suite is wider making it feel larger. The 777-200LR seat is the exact same as the 777-300ER compared in http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2015/07/04/emirates-777-vs-a380-first-class-which-is-better/
